Autism/Developmental Dx
Do you have concerns about your child and a possible autism spectrum disorder? Mile High Climbers offers comprehensive and compassionate neurodevelopmental assessment of children with suspected autism spectrum disorders.
Mile High Climber’s providers give consultations and perform multidisciplinary team evaluations for children with suspected autism spectrum disorders, as well as other developmental issues. Our team includes a licensed psychologist, speech language pathologist, and occupational therapist. Separate formal testing in speech and language and cognition can also be provided.
Our providers use the gold standard of autism spectrum assessment, the Autism Diagnostic Observation Schedule (ADOS), and the Autism Diagnostic Interview – Revised (ADI-R) which gathers information about social interaction, communication and behaviors from the parents’ perspective. We use these tools as our primary diagnostic instruments for evaluation of suspected autism spectrum disorders, but also use other assessments when indicated.
In addition, complete background information and previous testing are requested and reviewed, if available; informal assessment and observation are also used. A detailed report with testing results, diagnostic impressions, treatment recommendations and home resources will be provided. Each family is met with to extensively review, discuss, support and plan for your child’s needs, regardless of diagnosis. We want your family to feel supported and empowered in taking the next steps to help your child!
Please call Crystal Joy or Amanda Reed at 303.872.9033 or emailautism@milehighclimbers.com if you are interested in a consultation or evaluation for autism spectrum disorders.
